Frequently Asked Questions about Park Homes in Spain

Can you tell me the difference between a caravan and a park home?
A park home is more like a full size bungalow than a caravan. The park home provides a spacious and comfortable single storey home and is designed for all year round living, whereas a caravans structure is intended for the holiday market. All our homes come with a 5 year guarantee.

How soon can I site my home?
The homes are built to your specification with as many or as few modifications of your choice. The time scale varies between 45 days and 65 days dependent on any customization. The homes are delivered direct from the manufacturers and are ready to live in immediately.

What is 'siting'?
Transportation of your home to the site. Connections to all the main services, e.g. electricity & water.

How long does a Park Home last?
Because the homes are specially treated to withstand the heat, especially during the summer months, you are assured that the exterior will last much longer than a caravan home in the UK. The interiors are built with high spec. materials and designed specifically for year round living. As with bricks and mortar as long as the home is well maintained there is no reason why the home will not last for many years.

Does a park home keep it's value?
As with normal house prices the mobile home will increase percentage wise and sometimes can exceed current market trends in their areas.

Why do prices vary from site to site?
Again as with normal house prices location is everything. For instance if you decide on a site overlooking the sea & with incredible views of the mountains the prices reflects this and other factors include: parking, site facilities, accessibility and plot size.

Can I rent my home out?
Most sites will 'build' into an agreement that you may rent your home but normally there will be a commission charged for this.

Can I customise my home before it is sited?
Yes, this is possible in order to accommodate individual requirements. However this will have an effect on the price and timescale.

Will I be able to speak to an English speaking representative?
Yes all our representatives speak English.

What is the payment structure?
We have a straight forward payment schedule : € 2,000 Plot Reservation Deposit ( non refundable ) then € 11,000 Deposit ( within 14 days ) to order your home, followed by the balance within 30 days.

Are pets allowed on the site?
Sites can vary. Some sites positively welcome pets of all shapes & sizes while others may restrict to cats and small dogs only. Dependent on the site you choose we will establish which case applies.

Are there any hidden costs ?
No, we will clearly explain the full costs relating to the home before any purchase is made, we provide a detailed purchase confirmation sheet that explains all costs relating to your purchase which you will have a copy of.

Can I receive British television?
Yes, a connection will be made when you enter into a contract with a supplier.

Do you have inspection visits ?
We do not have an inspection visit program. We do however help arrange your flights, accommodation and transport for your visit. We will refund € 500 should you purchase from us.

Can I leave the home to my family in a will ?
Yes, the property can be left in a will to family.
